Each auction lot can contain either a single item, or a grouping of items. If it’s a group of items, you’re bidding on all of them together.

• Seller Managed auctions are listed by the seller, with pickup day also managed by the seller. 

• MaxSold Managed auctions are listed by trained and experienced MaxSold employees, who also manage the pickup day. 

• Partner Managed auctions are listed and managed by MaxSold’s professional partners, such as estate sales companies, senior move managers, professional organizers, and others.

There are no hidden reserve prices an auction lot must reach before it sells. So if an auction lot closes and you’re the only bidder, then it’s yours for just $1.

No waiting for items to ship! Most items on MaxSold are available for local pick-up at a scheduled date and time only. Please take note of these details before placing your bid. 
Helping our sellers clear out a large volume of items quickly and efficiently is a key part of the service we provide. Scheduled pick-ups are important for our marketplace because many of our sellers are clearing household items in advance of a move, or business inventory in advance of a closure.
